The call for grants for attraction of international students to summer courses of the University of Murcia in the CMN framework is open

As every year, the Mare Nostrum Campus of International Excellence publishes and publishes grants to attract and support international students studying at foreign universities in the Mediterranean area to our University, firstly, and to our Region, in Secondly, to enjoy a unique and enriching experience, which at the same time allows the approach between different cultures through the summer courses of the Universidad Internacional del Mar.

In this new call for 2018/2019, given the enormous success of the previous editions, the number of grants has increased again, from 40 last year to 58 in the current year.

Requirements for candidates:

To be a beneficiary of the aid, it will be necessary to: 

To be enrolled in the 2018/2019 academic year at a foreign university as a graduate or first cycle student, master’s or doctoral student. 
In the case of undergraduate or first cycle students, have passed at least 60 credits corresponding to the first year of the university degree. 
Have a Spanish proficiency with a minimum A2 level accredited, or English if you request a course from among those specified as bilingual this year. 
Have indicated in the online application, a course (up to a maximum of three) of the International University of the Sea (UNIMAR) of the University of Murcia, to be held in June, July, September or October 2019.

The mobility aids that include a scholarship of 500 Euros and free registration in the chosen course of the list of Annex I that appears in the call, must be requested to the Mare Nostrum Campus Office, through the places and means indicated in the call.

This year, registration will be made as follows:

1st Online application: https://www.um.es/aplicaciones/cmn-mediterraneo

2º Reception on paper, or electronically through the registry of the University of Murcia, of the application and the following documentation, BEFORE APRIL 26, 2019:

  • Passport copy
  • Spanish certificate, minimum A2; If choosing a bilingual course, attach minimum A2 English.
  • Certificate of being enrolled in the University of origin current course 2018/2019 (original in English, French or Spanish, stamped by the corresponding faculty, if the certificate is in Arabic, it will be necessary to attach original and translation by an official translator).
  • Academic record with average grade of the studies completed 2017/2018 (original in English, French or Spanish of the grades obtained, stamped by the department and / or corresponding faculty, if the file is in Arabic, it will be necessary to attach original and translation made by an official translator).
