“Thinking about the UEA time, I am always amazed at the extraordinary quality of the whole summer grant – we have met and spoken to so many researchers whose names I only knew by their exceptional publications, and we have visited so many famous collections and we have seen treasures from their archives which are generally not exhibited in their public exhibitions. ”  Sabine from Germany, Ishibashi summer scholarship 2019

“During your summer school at the University of East Anglia, you can have a free weekend to explore Norwich, Norfolk or beyond. I would like to suggest two activities to enjoy a classic English summer: afternoon tea and a seaside visit. ” Alexandria from Canada, Ishibashi Summer Fellowship 2018 – read the full article on our blog!
