Our Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships for Research Excellence are no longer available, however, alternative funding may be available through our UKRI Doctoral Training Initiatives.

Cardiff University hosts and partners in a range of UKRI Doctoral Training Partnerships and Centres for Doctoral Training.

Each has different recruitment timelines and may have variations in how many international students they can accept – this is typically up to 30%.
