A postdoctoral (PD) vacancy is available for Brazilians or foreigners to work in the Project Cancer Control in the State of São Paulo, approved within the scope of The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) call Science Centers for Development. The postdoctoral fellow will work in the implementation of cancer screening programs in the state of São Paulo, will carry out situational diagnosis at all levels of health care and will participate in the planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of the project, as well as in research to support the cancer control actions in the state of São Paulo. The FAPESP PD scholarship will last for 24 months (with the expectation of renewal) with a monthly amount of R$ 8,479.20 and a Technical Reserve of 10% of the annual amount to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.
The candidate must have a background in epidemiology, knowledge and some professional experience in cancer epidemiology and in the organization of the oncology public care network.
