Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neural Engineering Section, Behavioral Neuroscience Research Branch

The Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has junior postdoctoral positions available to conduct research aimed to understand neural mechanisms of substance abuse. The applicants will be part of a multidisciplinary neural engineering group focused on the development and application of miniScope imaging technology and machine-learning techniques to study rodent behavior to examine neuronal circuit function and dysfunction in motivated behavior and drug abuse. Highly motivated and independent candidates with a solid publication record are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with behavioral neuroscience training, in vivo recordings, or Matlab/Python programing will be a plus. This opportunity is located in Baltimore, MD.
