Singapore University of Technology and Design Scholarships

We offer the following internal scholarships on a competitive basis to outstanding applicants to the full-time doctoral program.

Tuition fees

SUTD will freeze tuition fee increases for Singapore citizens enrolled in government-sponsored postgraduate programs in AY2020. This will help mitigate the cost impact on Singaporean households in these difficult times.

Postgraduate tuition fees follow a fee schedule set at the year of admission, with pre-set annual increases over the course of the course. With the freeze on tuition fee increases, Singaporean postgraduates on AY2020 admission will pay the AY2019 fees in their first year of study. For Singaporean postgraduate students of AY2019 admission or earlier, the pre-planned fee increases for AY2020 will be deferred and they will pay the AY2019 fee in AY2020. The fee schedule for the remaining duration of the course will be reviewed before the start of YY2021.

The tuition fee increases freeze for AY2020 does not apply to fees payable by permanent residents of Singapore (PR) and international students (IS).
