Opening of Application Process of the second call of the Athenea3i fellowship programme

Athenea3i is a research fellowship programme focused on attracting highly talented researchers to the University of Granada (UGR) in order to benefit their research career with International, Interdisciplinary and Intersectoral opportunities. This innovative fellowship programme offers the experienced researchers an outstanding opportunity to develop new skills and competences, enriched with a personalised and pioneering career mentoring plan. Athenea3i also includes research periods at some of the most distinguished and outstanding institutions around the world, and optional secondment in regional, national and international companies.

Athenea3i will thus be able to provide a highly qualified ecosystem for developing excellent International, Interdisciplinary and Intersectoral research (Triple ‘I’), emphasising these aspects at three levels: at the University of Granada, as the beneficiary; at participating organisations and at the individual fellow level.

The highly talented human capital hired by the University of Granada will play a key role establishing bridges for the transfer of knowledge, exploitation of the results, and future research not only in relation to academia, but also to industry and businesses.

Athenea3i’s commitment pivots on the applicability of research outputs by making Science for Society: reinforcing not only the innovative aspect but also open data access and public engagement.
