Stockholm School of Economics scholarships

SSE has a number of scholarships for students required to pay tuition fees. The scholarship application is submitted with the program application. Only applicants who meet the eligibility requirements for the program will be considered for scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. All applications are assessed by a selection committee, taking into account the relevance and quality of personal motivation, academic excellence, relevant extracurricular activities, the diversity of program cohorts and the equitable distribution of scholarships through programs.

The scholarships are only intended for students who must pay tuition fees. A scholarship cannot be awarded to a student who:

  • has already lived in Sweden for two years or more before the scholarship period;
  • has Swedish nationality or is a national of an EU / EEA country (or Switzerland), has a permanent residence permit or a work permit in Sweden, or is applying for one of these listed above;
