Tenure-Track Faculty Positions, College of Science & Mathematics

The College of Science & Mathematics at Rowan University is seeking to hire several tenure-track faculty across the departments of Biological & Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Psychology. These searches are part of a broader, multi-year faculty hiring initiative across the College of Science & Mathematics.

Please follow the links below to review the requirements and expectations for the departmental hire(s) and areas of research interest for each departmental search is indicated below.  Please note that for all searches, outstanding candidates with research programs outside of the areas below will be considered.

Biological & Biomedical Sciencespreferred research program in the broader areas of neuroscience, microbiology, bioinformatics/computational biology, and/or “-omics” (e.g., metabolomics, genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics).

Chemistry & Biochemistrypreferred research program in the general areas of chemical biology or polymer chemistry, however, other related disciplines will be considered as well.

Computer Sciencepreferred research program in cybersecurity and closely related fields

Mathematicspreferred research program in statistics and data science.  The areas of particular interest include but are not limited to statistical methods in genetic epidemiology, eHealth and telemedicine; statistical methods for big data, deep and reinforcement learning; climate informatics

Psychologypreferred research program focusing on health-related issues, health disparities, and/or diversity-related issues.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.  All positions are contingent upon budget appropriations.
