Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) is currently seeking to recruit staff for the position of
4-10 Doctoral Researchers for a fixed term of a maximum of three years, starting on the 1st of June 2022 or as agreed.
JSBE doctoral school consists of two doctoral programmes: JSBE doctoral programme in business studies, and JSBE doctoral programme in economics. At the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) it is possible to complete a doctoral degree in seven major disciplines: accounting, corporate communication, corporate environmental management, management and leadership, marketing, strategy and entrepreneurship (i.e., business studies), and economics.
Tasks and qualifications
Doctoral Researcher’s primary responsibilities include dissertation study, postgraduate education, teaching assistance, and other related duties.
The duties, eligibility requirements and language skills of Doctoral Researchers are defined in the University of Jyväskylä Regulations and language skills guidelines. Doctoral Researchers are required to have a good command of the English language.
Doctoral Researchers are expected to have a relevant Master’s degree and the right to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Jyväskylä.

The salary of a successful candidate will be based on level 2-4 of the job requirement scheme for teaching and research staff in the salary system om Finnish universities. The annual salary range will be approximately 28,500 EUR (gross income, including a holiday bonus). With progress of the thesis work, the salary will be revised in accordance with the Collective Agreement of Finnish Universities. A trial period of six months will be used in the beginning of the employment.
