Please note that you need to have a
- Master’s degree or equivalent (only in exceptional cases a 4-years Bachelor’s degree will be sufficient) in a relevant field, or
- Medical Degree before starting the Ph.D. program.

Timeline of important dates
The application window for positions available for the IMPRS-TP traditional Ph.D. and the Residency/Ph.D. training program in the field of psychiatry and neuroscience will be opened on August 01, 2021, for a start in 2022.
All applications have to be submitted through the application portal.
Deadlines:
- Application deadline: September 12, 2021 (12:00 – noon CET).
- Deadline for references: October 15, 2021 (12:00 – noon CET).
- Candidates will be notified in December 2021.
- Interviews will be scheduled for February 2022.
Travel expenses and accommodation for the interview will be covered by IMPRS-TP, where applicable.
