Accounting – Assistant Professor – Royal Military College of Canada

The Department of Management at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) invites applications for a two-year term full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Accounting. The start date of the position is April 1^st, 2024, nonetheless flexible to accommodate personal and professional circumstances.

The required qualification is a Ph.D., DBA or Doctorate from a recognized university in a field related to Management or Business Administration. Candidates holding a completed master’s degree may also be considered eligible if they possess a CPA designation.

This is a bilingual position. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver courses in both official languages at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to meet the Canadian Public Service second language standards of at least BBB.

Applicants need to provide evidence of a strong teaching portfolio. The successful candidate will also be required to contribute through service to the Department, the Faculty, the University, and the broader professional community. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a university environment is therefore essential.
