The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne (HEC Lausanne) invites applications for a full-time position as

Assistant Professor (tenure track)

in

Macroeconomics

Starting on August 1st, 2024, or on a mutually agreed date.

Candidates should hold a PhD in economics, with a specialization in macroeconomics, and they should have the potential to publish in the best journals in the field. Teaching experience at university level (Bachelor’s and Master’s) is an asset.

The new professor will be a member of the Department of Economics. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent research environment: one of the highest densities of ERC grants and top publications relative to department size in Europe in recent years.
