Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Biophysics and Cellular Pharmacology

Post-doctoral position available to study the role of the Nav1.8 sodium channel in arrhythmic diseases at the Federal University of São Paulo’s Medical School (EPM-UNIFESP) in Brazil. Knowledge of cellular biophysics is required, with an emphasis on the patch-clamp technique. Known-how in genetic manipulation of induced pluripotent stem cells is a plus. The position is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral Scholarship in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 per month and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.

Candidates living outside São Paulo will receive an additional 1-month stipend to cover moving expenses.
