A Postdoctoral Research Associate position available at the UNMC Eppley Institute and Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska-Medical Center. A qualified and highly motivated candidate is sought for a postdoctoral position in a well-funded multidisciplinary research group to study novel aspects of signal transduction and metabolic alterations in pancreatic cancer cells, tumor-stromal crosstalk, and immunometabolism. Our state-of-the art research program utilizes molecular biology and biochemistry techniques along with multi-omics approaches, including sc-RNA-seq, bulk RNAseq, epigenomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and genetically engineered mouse models and organoid models.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or MD/PhD in the field of Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Cancer Biology or a related field with expertise in molecular biology, cell-based assays, and animal studies. Candidates with expertise in metabolomics/mass spectrometry are also encouraged to apply.
