Scholarships for a DAAD Master of Science in Po

Funding is available for stays at Sciences Po as part of master’s programs (two years), with the exception of the MPA for studies.

The scholarship includes the following benefits:

– a monthly grant payment, determined according to the host country

– travel allowance depending on the host country

– benefits for health, accident and civil liability insurance

– In addition, the DAAD covers the tuition fees up to the amount estimated by Sciences Po for DAAD scholarship holders.

The duration of the scholarship is nine months, according to the academic calendar of Sciences Po.

Candidates who start their studies at Sciences Po for the first time during the 2021/2022 academic year will receive the scholarship from September 2021 to participate in an integration internship in Paris. An extension for the second year of the master may be requested. The initial request must indicate the total duration of the program.

A good knowledge of French and English is essential. Candidates must pass the TCF or the DALF (French language test). Candidates are requested to contact the nearest French Institute in good time to find out the dates of the tests. Only holders of a Franco-German baccalaureate are exempt from this exam. A TOEFL or IELTS certificate is also required by Sciences Po.

Particular attention will be paid to

academic qualification, measured in terms of academic results and reports

the quality of the project, measured by the curriculum and the cover letter; the quality of the project includes the following aspects: the justification of the request, the plausibility and feasibility of the project, the state of preparation of the stay abroad, the integration of the stay in the academic career and the link with the prospects academic or professional

the language and knowledge of the host country
