Post-Doctoral Fellow – Kidney Regenerative Medicine Lab Weill Cornell Medicine

The Rogosin Institute is a not-for-profit medical care and research organization affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medicine. Rogosin is one of the premier centers for the diagnosis and management of kidney disease in the country. The Institute also treats patients with diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders and cancer and conducts research in these areas.

The Kidney Regenerative Medicine Laboratory at The Rogosin Institute is looking for an exceptional individual to fill the position of Post-doctoral Fellow. This research laboratory focuses on understanding how we can generate kidney tissue that faithfully reproduces adult kidney functions. Job duties include but are not limited to designing and executing experiments; devising new procedures and methods tailored to specific research questions; collecting, analyzing, and curating research data. The Post-doctoral Fellow will also prepare data presentations for meetings and research conferences and figures for manuscripts. S/he uses graphics and statistical software to analyze and present data.

We require a Ph.D. in a basic or health science, MD, DO, DVM or DDS also acceptable. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, an ability to work independently and good communication skills.
