Sessional Instructor – SENG 637 Dependability and Reliability of Software Systems, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering

Position Description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary has an opening for a Sessional Instructor position in the Master of Engineering focus on Software engineering program.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach the graduate level course SENG 637 ‘Dependability and Reliability of Software Systems’.  SENG 637 is listed in the University of Calgary Calendar for Summer 2020 session. The successful candidate is required to be available during that entire period. The successful candidate will be expected to have earned at least a Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field, and must have a demonstrated background in the subject matter related to this course.  The successful candidate must also have very good previous teaching performance or show the potential for very good to excellent teaching ability.  It is strongly desired that the candidate is registered as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian Province.

SENG 637 course description:

Principles of software dependability techniques, and techniques to improve and predict software realibiltiy.

Course scheduled hours:
Lecture: Monday, Wednesday 9:00- 11:45pm
