Call for Applications!! ESD Okayama Award 2023

We are now accepting applications for the ESD Okayama Award 2023, which recognizes outstanding ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) initiatives in Japan and abroad.  We look forward to receiving your applications!

The ESD Okayama Award has been held since 2015 under the joint sponsorship of Okayama City and the ESD Okayama Award Steering Board, with the objectives of recognizing outstanding ESD activities in Japan and abroad and promoting ESD by making these activities known to as many people as possible.

Organizations implementing ESD projects in Japan and abroad

One or two project(s)

US $3,000 per project

One representative from the organization(s) implementing the awarded project(s) will be invited to the Award Ceremony in Okayama, Japan and requested to give a presentation on the project.  The scheduled date is 23 November 2023 (Thursday).
