Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant:
  The applicant must be a researcher holding a PhD in Mathematics and based in a developing country at the time of application.

• European Colleague:
  The European colleague must be a researcher holding a PhD in Mathematics and based in one of the following countries for the entire duration of the applicant’s stay:

  • Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland

Application Requirements:

Applicants must complete the online application form and submit the following documents:

1. Short CV (PDF format):

   • A summary of your academic background and professional experience.

   • Proof of being actively employed in an academic institution in one or more developing countries during the past 5 years.

2. List of Scientific Achievements:

   • Three major publications with justifications for each publication.

3. Professional Stays Abroad:

   • List of professional stays abroad during the past 5 years.

4. Additional Supporting Documents:

   • PDF describing other elements supporting your application (e.g., supervision of Master’s and PhD students, important administrative or teaching roles).

Scholarship Benefits:

• Fully Funded:
  The scholarship is fully funded, with a maximum grant of €10,000, intended to cover the following expenses:

  • Travel (airfare)

  • Accommodation

  • Insurance

  • PCR test

  • Visa

  • Other related expenses during the stay

  Note:
  The exact amount of funding is determined based on the duration of the stay and the applicant’s location. It will only cover personal expenses.

• Duration of Stay:
  The minimum duration of the collaboration is 5 weeks with the host. An additional week is generally included for the recording and delivery of an 8-hour mini-course.
