About the Department of Child Studies and Social Work
The Department of Child Studies and Social Work offers a Bachelor of Child Studies degree, focusing on experiential learning in early childhood education and child protection. We are currently seeking an assistant professor to teach in the Child and Youth Care program, with a focus on counseling skills, leadership, and practice in child and youth care.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Child and Youth Care or a related field (PhD preferred)
Degree in Child and Youth Care
Practical experience in child and youth care
Teaching and community leadership skills
Responsibilities
The position involves teaching four courses in the fall and winter semesters, with an emphasis on counseling skills and leadership in child and youth care practice.
