YOUR TASKS

A trial has been carried out on the use of beta mannanases to support gut health in poultry, and samples have been taken and need to be analyzed. Tasks in the project are:

  •  Carrying out immunohistochemical analysis on intestinal samples
  • Analyzing microbiota data generated using 16S sequencing
  • Writing up a scientific report on a trial

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a Master in Veterinary Sciences or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficient in English
  • Highly motivated and team-oriented
  • You are driven to explore research questions independently and in depth
  • You have a specific interest in intestinal health and the host-microbiome cross-talk
  • Demonstrated scientific writing
  • Prior experience with organizing and conducting large scale in vivo trials using farm animals (chickens, pigs, cattle) is good

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of 4 months, not to be extended.
  • Your contract will start on 1/04/2022at the earliest.
