We invite motivated and skilled candidates to apply for the PhD studentship supported by stipend and a half time employment in the newly established Department of Experimental and Functional Morphology in cooperation either with Charles University in Prague or University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
Your opportunities:
- Topic on interface of population biology and functional morphology and anatomy supervised by Zdenek Janovský and Jitka Klimešová
- Developing knowledge about anatomical and morphological methods (herbchronology, functional anatomy, clonal growth and bud bank traits) and plant demography.
- Collecting and analysing data, interpreting results, writing scientific papers, presenting in your networks and conferences.
- Co-operation with other members of Třeboň ´s international research team and with internal and external partners.

Contract duration: This is a four-year appointment with the possibility of extension. Starting date: preferably May 2020.
Required qualifications:
