IBP Fellows are junior, independent positions intended for outstanding fresh Ph.D.’s to establish a vigorous research program at IBP within 3-5 years. Successful Fellows are expected to develop into a full-fledged tenure-track faculties at IBP.
1. Requirements
Candidates should have obtained their PhD degree within last three years, and have demonstrated outstanding potential in making significant impact in their own research areas. Ideal candidates should also possess the ability to lead a research group independently. Applications in the areas of brain and cognitive sciences, and infection and immunology are highly encouraged.
2. Salary, Benefits and Staffing
IBP offers internationally competitive salary and benefits, and subsidized housing near the Institute. In addition to the Fellow oneself, one institute-paid staff position will be provided. Additional postdoctoral and technical posts may be appointed depending on research progress and funding state. Starting fund will be evaluated based on individual situations.
