Salary
£40322 to £49553 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Post attracts a consolidated AVA and a non consolidated clinical supplement.

The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science offers an innovative veterinary course with a community based clinical teaching model with clinical staff supervising clinical final year undergraduate and small numbers of clinical post-graduate students in a network of clinical associate veterinary practices.

The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science (SVMS) invites applications for a fixed term, part time Clinical Assistant Professor in Equine Medicine. The role will be focused on undergraduate teaching across the five years of the curriculum, including innovative methods of teaching and curriculum development as part of our dual intake programme, as well as contributing to fifth year clinical rotations. Candidates should possess a primary veterinary degree that can be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and should be Diplomates of either ECVIM or ACVIM. Candidates should be prepared to work with our Clinical Associate Practices to deliver a specialist clinical service, and should have experience of delivering within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

A driving license is essential for this post  as the role will involve providing emergency out of hours cover often to remote locations where public transport will not be available.

This role is available on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2022. Hours of work are part time (14.5 hours).
