Professor of Plant Physiology

We are looking for an outstanding scientific personality who will complement and expand the existing expertise at the Institute of Biology in the field of plant physiology and be responsible for teaching the subject of experimental plant physiology. The core research areas of the future post holder should be in a promising experimental field of plant physiology, related to biotic and abiotic stress factors. The research of the successful candidate should support one of the university’s existing Fields of Excellence, i.e. “Global Change Graz” or “Complexity of Life in Basic Research and Innovation”. Outstanding professional qualifications in research and teaching, successful acquisition of third-party funds and willingness to work at NAWI Graz are prerequisites. We also expect gender mainstreaming skills.

Benefits

The minimum remuneration as stated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement is EUR 73.438,40 gross per year. Salary subject to negotiation.
