EDGE is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie COFUND Action, led by Trinity College Dublin on behalf of 10 Irish academic institutions of excellence. EDGE awards fellowships to high-calibre post-doctoral researchers, who will relocate to Ireland to join expert supervisors in the ICT (networks, data and materials) field. In our 4th call we may award up to 17 Fellowships, each 18 / 24-months duration, depending on availability of the start date of the fellow.
EDGE Fellowships are for experienced researchers from any country, seeking a prestigious, career-building position in Ireland. EDGE aims to form a community of thought leaders in ICT, including developing skills to engage with industry – all the top 10 ICT companies are present here in Ireland.
Researchers who will hold a PhD on 30th June 2020, or at least 4 years of equivalent research experience can apply by submitting a research proposal before 5th April 2020, after reviewing the information on our website – http://www.edge-research.eu.
Three Fellowship Levels are available, with generous awards based on experience – see http://edge-research.eu/fellowships/remuneration/
All potential supervisors are affiliated with at least one of three Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Research Centres: ADAPT, CONNECT and AMBER. The Fellowship will be hosted by the Supervisor’s institute.
