Foundation Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Liverpool West has for many years provided support to people in drought affected areas. In 2019, with the assistance of Rotary Club of Narromine, the Rotary Club commenced helping the people of Narromine Shire, as part of this assistance the Rotary Club of Liverpool West has established a three year scholarship for students who have studied at either Narromine High School or Trangie Central School and wish to study selected courses full time on campus
Eligibility

Commencing Students; Continuing Students
STUDY MODE: On Campus
CAMPUS: Bathurst; Dubbo; Orange
MUST BE STUDYING IN:
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Primary)
Bachelor of Education (K-12)
Bachelor of Dental Science
Bachelor of Nursing
Bachelor of Pharmacy
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
CONDITIONS:
Applicant to be a long term resident of the Narromine / Trangie LGA and have completed their year 12 studies at either Narromine High School or Trangie Central School
Applicants must be studying full time on campus
Preference may be given to applicants experiencing genuine financial hardship. (student to provide a Centrelink Income Statement or outline their financial need in the ‘Additional Financial Information’ free text box in the application)
Satisfactory academic performance (ATAR 65.0 and above or GPA 4.0 and above)
NOTE:
Total scholarship value will be paid at $3,000 per annum over the duration of the recipient’s undergraduate degree to a maximum of $9,000. Ongoing payments are subject to the recipient maintaining a pass grade average (4.0 and above) in all subjects attempted and continued enrolment in their degree.
There is an expectation that the successful applicant will attend a Rotary meeting at an agreed time with the donor to be a guest speaker
