The University of Pisa awards 24 merit scholarships each year to international students admitted to one of the English-taught Masters , or the Bachelor in Management for Business and Economics , in order to promote the academic offer in English of the University. The merit-based scholarship consists of:
- First year of the course: 6,500 euros gross and exemption from university fees (except €140.00 in regional taxes, and €16.00 in stamp duty)
- Second year of Master ‘s course : 8 thousand euros net and a 50% reduction in university fees if the student has obtained at least 36 CFU credits
- Second and third year of License : 8 thousand euros net and a 50% reduction in university fees if the student has obtained at least 36 CFU credits (first year) and 96 CFU credits (second year).
The winners will receive the scholarship after arriving in Pisa and only after applying for the residence permit and being enrolled at the University of Pisa.

Who can apply
International students, enrolled during the 2023/2024 academic year in one of the Masters taught in English , or in the Bachelor in Management for Business and Economics .
Presentation of the request
Students do not have to apply for the scholarship. All admitted students are eligible and will be automatically considered.
Assessment
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of a single ranking, carried out by a committee which will assess the following factors:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) Assessment
- Result of the interview
- GPA (Graduated Grade Point Average)
- Country of origin of the applicant, giving priority to economically less advantageous countries.
Time limit
In order to participate in the award of scholarships, applicants must register for the course of study of interest before the deadline suggested by the course of study itself for the year 2023/2024 .
