So you can apply for a position in any kind of research disciplines (= Open BOFZAP category), or you can choose to join one of the following research profiles (= profile BOFZAP):
The BOFZAP positions are primarily research-oriented, but the applicants must be prepared to undertake limited teaching assignments according to the BOF-decree. Qualified applicants are expected to have a high international level in the scientific field (Senior BOFZAP) or a high potential is estimated (Junior BOFZAP). The high quality of the applicants should be evidenced by publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, they are also expected to have good training and teaching skills in order to take on teaching assignments at the university. Interested applicants must hold at the time of appointment at least three years of postdoctoral experience, from the date the PhD was obtained.
