Eligibility criteria
Applications for PhD positions are accepted from applicants, regardless of gender, age and nationality, who hold an Italian “Laurea Magistrale”, according to the DM no. 270 of 22.10.2004 and subsequent amendments, or an equivalent Italian academic degree or an equivalent foreign academic degree (Master’s degree), recognized as equivalent by the Admissions Committee. Applications are also accepted from students expecting to obtain the necessary degree by October 31, 2020.

Selection process
The selection process for admission to the PhD Programme consists of:
– an evaluation of titles assessing the qualifications of the candidate according to Art. 3 of the call;
– an oral examination in Italian or English.
The Admissions Committee can assign each candidate a total score of 100 as follows:
– 90 points for the assessment of qualification;
– 110 points for the oral examination.
Candidates obtaining a minimum score of 65/90 for the assessment of qualifications will be admitted to the oral examination, which is passed with a minimum of 80/110. Applicants who have passed the interview and obtained an overall score of 165/200 will be short-listed. The application must be completed and submitted by 4.00 PM Italian time of August 20, 2020.
