Applications are accepted from applicants, regardless of gender, age and nationality, who hold an Italian “Laurea Magistrale” or “Laurea Specialistica” (according to the Ministerial Decree no. 509 of 03.11.1999, subsequently amended by Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 22.10.2004),
or a university degree obtained at an Italian Institution belonging to the AFAM system (Alta Formazione Artistica e Musicale), or an equivalent foreign degree (Master’s degree) recognized as eligible by the Admissions Committee.
Applications are also accepted from students expecting to obtain the necessary degree by October 31, 2020.

The selection process for admission to the PhD Programme in Mathematics consists of:
– an evaluation of titles assessing the qualifications of the candidate according to Art. 3 of the call;
– an oral examination in Italian or English.
The Admissions Committee can assign each candidate a total score of 100 as follows:
– 40 points for the assessment of qualification;
– 60 points for the oral examination.
Candidates obtaining a minimum score of 25/40 for the assessment of qualifications will be admitted to the oral examination, which is passed with a minimum of 38/60. The application must be completed and submitted by 4.00 PM Italian time of July 30, 2020.
