The Association for Research on the Agri-Food Economy encourages research, work and training in agro-industrial and food economics and management. It facilitates the transfer of knowledge between research and the business world. For this it supports the organization of colloquia or seminars, as well as publications. It also organizes the AREA Awards which annually rewards Theses, Masters (Research and Professional) and Memories of Engineering Schools. The call for candidates for the 26th edition of the AREA awards is open until March 7, 2020.
What are the AREA Awards?
The AREA Prizes reward Theses, Masters (Research and Professional), Memories of Engineering Schools, other Schools and Institutes.
The field of work concerned extends from inputs and the environment of agricultural, food and agro-industrial, craft and industrial productions, to services and final consumption, food or not. The work must include an economic approach to be admissible. Territorial and international aspects are appreciated. The academic quality having already been judged, qualities of innovation and concrete perspectives are expected.
The Prize is therefore not reserved for economists or specialists in the sector. The juries of previous years have often distinguished open cultures and double formations.
The works can only be presented once and must be written and supported in French.
Confidential documents are not admissible.
