POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE POSITION for a highly motivated graduate student to join the Yale Psychiatry Division of Human Genetics, a productive and collaborative research environment with a focus on the genetics of psychiatric illnesses, behavioral phenotypes, and other complex traits founded by Dr. Joel Gelernter. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Daniel Levey on projects funded by the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation,  the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Yale University, investigating the genetics of depression and anxiety disorders and related psychiatric traits in the VA Million Veteran Program dataset (one of the world’s largest and most informative biobanks) and the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium (the largest experiment in the history of biological psychiatry). Additional opportunities will include the analysis of a growing sample in the deeply phenotyped Yale-Penn cohort with genetics, RNAseq, and epigenetic data. The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with peers at Yale and with many other collaborators nationally and internationally, and bring research to publication. The start date is flexible. Please send your application (including CV and contact information for three references) by email to Dr. Levey at daniel.levey@yale.edu with Postdoctoral Associate in the title.
