The KPMG Future Leaders program is a charitable initiative focused on the development of future generations of female leaders. Funded by proceeds from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit , the KPMG Future Leaders annually recognizes twenty-two top female high school girls the opportunity to enhance their personal development through college scholarships, leadership development retreat, mentorship and golf initiation. The main goal of the program is to help these young women continue to build a solid foundation and instill in them the confidence and leadership capacity they need to be successful in college and, ultimately, in their career. long term career.
The winners of the selected future KPMG leaders receive:
- An annual scholarship of $ 10,000 per year for 4 years of college
- A retreat for future KPMG leaders that will focus on leadership training, career development and academic transition.
- A match with a mentor for one year; the mentor being a female executive who attended the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit .
The application criteria include:
- High school student plans to enroll in 4-year undergraduate program for next fall semester 2021
- Proven track record of academic excellence and leadership potential
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Interest in a business or an academic STEM field
- Demonstrates significant financial need
- Letter of recommendation from a non-profit / community organization
