The Val d’Oise international scholarship (BIVO) is only open to Japanese students wishing to study in the Val d’Oise.
Intended to support international mobility and promote partnership relations for more than 30 years with Japan, it aims to select Japanese students on criteria of excellence to enable them to carry out an exchange (mobility of 6 to 10 months maximum) within partner higher education institutions under the best possible conditions.
For the 2020/2021 edition, the application deadline is June 15, 2021. For the next call, the application deadline will be June 2022.

AMOUNT / SERVICES
- A monthly allowance paid by CY foundation: 600 € per month
- A course in French as a Foreign Language (FLE)
- Exemptions: Visa fees, registration fees in the university or in a higher education establishment, social cover and maintenance “Studies in France”
- Japan / France Round Trip Ticket Offer
- CROUS accommodation reservation by Campus France (subject to change)
DURATION
at least one semester (i.e. 6 months) and a maximum of 1 year

NATIONALITY
The program is reserved for applicants of Japanese nationality.
FIELDS OF STUDY
This scholarship is only for those who wish to enroll in a program in Humanities and Social Sciences .
LEVEL OF STUDIES
This scholarship concerns registrations for license 2, license 3, master 1 and master 2 (depending on the partner institutions).

LANGUAGE MASTERY
The language level (French / English) required is defined by the program to be followed. Applicants are encouraged to verify this with the host institution.
Level B2 in French is compulsory to follow law courses taught in French.
