Overview
The Meridian Scholarship is SIUE’s premier academic scholarship. Meridian scholars receive four years of tuition, fees, room and board. The following items must be submitted by December 1, 2021 (postmark date) to ensure consideration for the Meridian Scholarship:
- Apply to SIUE for the fall semester
- Complete the online supplemental profile form
- Submit official high school transcripts
Students interested in the Meridian Scholars program are highly encouraged to visit campus prior to December 1 and learn how SIUE can help fulfill your academic goals.
Fall 2022 Criteria
- Admitted freshmen will be considered with a cumulative 3.5 high school GPA (4.0 scale).
- Average profile of selected scholars: 3.92 GPA
- U.S. and international students are eligible. The Meridian Scholarship is not available to transfer students.
All applicants who meet the criteria above and submit all required documents by the December 1 deadline will be notified of their status in late-January 2022.
