Eligibility and relevance
Who can apply
You can apply to one of the master’s programs we fund if you want to develop research skills in the humanities or social sciences and train in a health field.
You can apply before you graduate, but you must have graduated (or equivalent) before receiving the award.

Who cannot apply
You may not request to conduct activities involving the transfer of grant funds to mainland China.
What we offer
A master’s scholarship is for one year. Support includes:

- £16,000 if based outside London
- £18,000 if you are based in London
We generally provide funds at the level charged to UK/EU students, rather than at the overseas student rate (with the exception of applicants from low- and middle-income countries ).
