Each year, UFV International welcomes more than 700 new students from more than 70 countries around the world. The UFV invites academic excellence by awarding the following scholarships each year to the best incoming international students:
- An international excellence admission scholarship of $ 10,000 to 5 of the best international candidates.
- An international regional admission scholarship of $ 5,000 to 35 of the best international candidates.
- A $ 5,000 high school bursary from British Columbia (BC) to 5 of the best high school graduates in British Columbia.
The scholarship deadline is April 1 for registrations for the fall semester and August 1 for entries for the winter semester.
The medjouel.com team informs you that the scholarships will be granted in the form of tuition fee credits for the first semester of study by the recipients at UFV.
International Excellence Admission Scholarship
Amount: $ 10,000 per applicant
Number: 5 per year
Who is eligible?
This scholarship is available to the best international candidates who apply to study at UFV during their graduation year or who have recently graduated with an average GPA of 3.5. Preference will be given to applicants applying for a diploma program.
Short-term and exchange students are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to register?
The duly completed application must be received at the UFV International office before the deadline for the grant. Applicants must complete the International Excellence Admission Scholarship application form and submit it with two letters of recommendation from current teachers and proof of extracurricular activities or an extracurricular record to international@ufv.ca . The winners will be informed at the end of April.
International regional admission scholarship
Amount: $ 5,000 per applicant
Number: 35 each year (25 for entry in the fall semester and 10 for entry in the winter semester)
Who is eligible?
This scholarship is available to the best international candidates who apply to the UFV during their year of graduation or who have recently obtained an average GPA of 3.0.
How to register?
All eligible international candidates who apply to the UFV are automatically taken into account. No separate application is required. Only qualified applicants who have submitted a duly completed application (application fees, official proof of proficiency in English and official transcripts) by the scholarship deadline will be considered.
Regions for the academic year 2020:

- ASEAN
- East Asia
- Latin America
- South Asia
- Open – Scholarships are available for applicants from countries outside the regions already identified.
British Columbia High School Entrance Scholarship
Amount: $ 5,000 per applicant
Number : 5 per year
Who is eligible?
This scholarship is available to the best international high school applicants who study in British Columbia or in an extraterritorial secondary school in British Columbia who apply to UFV during their year of graduation with a minimum overall average of 3.0 out of all grade 12 courses (at least three grade 12 university courses required).
How to register?
All eligible international candidates who apply to the UFV are automatically taken into account. No separate application is required. Only qualified applicants who have submitted a duly completed application (application fees, official proof of proficiency in English and official secondary school transcripts) before the scholarship deadline will be considered.
