When 49 lives were taken, 49 heirlooms began
Our mission is to provide academic opportunities – honoring the aspirations of the 49 angels – to recipients who embody love, hope, unity, courage, and unconditional acceptance.
By working with the families and loved ones of those killed, we have created 49 annual scholarships based on the interests, careers or aspirations of angels. As an extension of their impact on our world, these scholarships inspire and empower students who share the same dreams.
The scholarship program is one of the four pillars of our Foundation’s mission to create and support a memorial that opens hearts, a museum that opens minds, educational programs that open eyes and heritage scholarships that open doors.
