The IB is proud to announce the creation of scholarships in regions around the world to allocate funds to the People’s University M.Ed. program. Scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate a commitment to IB education, pedagogy and their local community. Recipients will receive funding for the 13 assessment fees required by UoPeople to complete the M.Ed. degree.
Applications open for scholarships on January 6
Eligibility: Applicants must be citizens of one of the countries listed in the regions available below.
Funding: The scholarships will fund up to 13 courses for the UoPeople M.Ed. degree.
Deadline: The application will open on January 6, 2020 and close on March 8, 2020 . Please ensure that all documents are submitted by then.
Rules
To be eligible for an IB scholarship, students must meet the following conditions.
- Applicants must be potential students or enrolled in the Master of Education in Advanced Teaching of the People’s University (“Master of Education Degree”).
- Applicants must have some teaching experience, demonstrate a commitment to education, IB pedagogy and their local community.
- Prospective students must provide proof of admission within 60 days of the award. Registered students must be in good academic and financial position with the People’s University.
- Employees of the International Baccalaureate and the People’s University and their immediate families, including spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses, are not eligible.
- All submissions must be in English.
