Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Students (PBEEE)
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEES) offers scholarships to foreign students for doctoral, postdoctoral studies and for a short research or development stay.
These scholarships aim to support the internationalization of research activities in higher education institutions in Quebec in order to attract the best foreign students. Component 1 – Doctoral research

By participating in the 2021-2022 competition, your funding can begin no earlier than May 2021 and no later than January 2022.

To be eligible for this program, you must not have applied for permanent residence under Canadian immigration laws by the closing date of the final selection of the FRQNT, November 1, 2020.
