Princeton University’s Center for the Study of Democratic Politics (CSDP) hosts visiting scholars and/or post-doctoral or more senior research associates each academic year, whose work focuses on empirical research on democratic political processes and institutions.
CSDP fellows pursue research and contribute to the intellectual life of the Center, the Department of Politics, and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. CSDP scholars must be in residence at Princeton during the academic terms, and are expected to participate in the weekly CSDP seminars and related weekly research seminars in the Department of Politics, as well as occasional lectures, conferences, and other events.
