As part of its regional project on entrepreneurship and employability and as part of an entrepreneurial preincubation process, AUF ECO and the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest are launching a regional competition for French-speaking students at bachelor’s and master’s level for encourage them to present their idea of a tech start-up.
Objectives of the regional call for candidates:
- awaken the entrepreneurial spirit of young Francophones from AUF member universities in Central and Eastern Europe by allowing them to explore the entrepreneurial world and its diverse players;
- support / enhance the innovative, creative and daring projects of young Francophones;
- support the establishment of innovative preincubation and acceleration practices in the ECO region;
- foster national and regional partnerships between universities and socioeconomic circles.
But above all, this competition is a unique opportunity to:
- find a way to turn your idea into reality, try to carry out an innovative project or transform a hobby into a business;
- have an external perspective on your start-up project and be supported by professionals in the field in the implementation of your start-up idea.
The particularity of this competition: it is open to all French-speaking students from AUF member universities in Central and Eastern Europe, regardless of their age, gender or field of study.
Applicants must:
- form / present in a team of maximum 5 French-speaking students;
- each member of the team must be regularly enrolled in an AUF member university in Central and Eastern Europe ( auf.org/les_membres/nos-membres/ ) during the entire period of the competition (December 2021 – July 2022, academic year 2021 – 2022);
- be French-speaking (level B1 or higher);
- complete the competition form (one form per team) on the auf.org platform (Regional competition “Transforming good ideas into start-ups” 2022, AUF Central and Eastern Europe).
