Postdoctoral research contract (4 years) on molecular ecology

This search is for a Senior Research Scientist (SRS) to lead an emerging research line in Molecular Ecology of Vertebrate Coloration at the EEZA (CSIC) in the frame of the EMERGIA program. The post is open to candidates with a strong expertise in wide-genome approaches and quantitative genetic analyses to clarify the molecular and genetic mechanisms that lead to diversity in animal colourations and the evolution of phenotypic syndromes in the wild. The candidate should also show strong expertise in experimental and correlative studies of vertebrates in the field, and in the collection of measurements on different aspects of vertebrate phenotypes (coloration, behaviour, physiology and life-history).
