Fully funded PhD positions in epigenetics research at EpiCrossBorders!

To provide you – future scientific leaders in epigenetics with the best training – the Helmholtz epigenetics@HMGU community and the epigenetics research laboratories from the University of Edinburgh, the Wellcome Trust Centre for Cell Biology, MRC Human Genetics Unit, and Centre for Regenerative Medicine launched their collaborative PhD training program in EpiCrossBorders: International Helmholtz-Edinburgh Research School for Epigenetics. EpiCrossBorders receives its funding from Helmholtz Zentrum München, the Initiative and Networking Fund from Helmholtz Association, and the partners from Edinburgh.

Our call for fully funded PhD positions in Munich is now open, with deadline for submissions on October 15th, 2021.

EpiCrossBorders is an international and interdisciplinary PhD training program centered on epigenetics research at the Helmholtz Zentrum München in Munich, Germany, and the University of Edinburgh, UK. PhD projects in EpiCrossBorders are located at the Helmholtz Zentrum München and include a six to twelve month stay in collaborating Edinburgh labs. They are funded three-year projects.

How to Apply

We invite you to submit your application via our online application until October 15th, 2021. Applicants should hold an MSc (or equivalent degree) with a strong background in biological sciences, (bio)chemistry, biomedicine, computer science, or related discipline, have excellent English language skills, and a drive to pursue their PhD in an international and multidisciplinary setting.
