Job description

YOUR TASKS

– Research on biostability of water in drinking water distribution networks by means of advanced modelling in the framework of a FWO SBO project (strategic fundamental research)
– Extend existing models with bacterial kinetics and validation using a physical model and a case from a utility
– Risk modelling: compile a knowledge base and make predictions using artificial intelligence (AI) techniques
– Integrated mechanistic and risk modelling for biostability: scenario analysis and optimization for minimization of biostability problems
– Writing down the results in scientific articles and a PhD
