Our research group at the Center for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP), University of Tübingen, Germany, is looking for a highly motivated and talented
PhD student (m/f/d)
The appropriate candidate should have a background in cell and molecular biology and/or biochemistry.
14-3-3 dimers are crucial for the modification of the activity state of various client proteins upon phosphorylation. We currently tackle the analysis of 14-3-3 association with NPH3 – an essential component of the phototropic response (see: bioRxiv preprint doi: doi.org/10.1101/2021.04.09.439179). The project aims to address the impact of 14-3-3:NPH3 complex assembly on formation of auxin gradients required for phototropism.
Who should apply? People that show enthusiasm for science, that take initiative and are constructive team players. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled and should include CV, research experience and contact details of two references.
The University of Tübingen is committed to increase the proportion of women in Science and qualified women are particularly encouraged to apply. Equally qualified applicants with disabilities will be given preference.
