Position Description
The Department of Civil Engineering in the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary has an opening for a Sessional Instructor position to teach the following course in Spring 2020.
Topic 89: Procurement and Logistics
Designed to provide graduate students, especially at the PhD level, with the opportunity of pursuing advanced studies in particular areas under the direction of a faculty member. Students would be required to consider problems of an advanced nature.
The programs offered by the Department of Civil Engineering are accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB). To maintain the accreditation of our programs, faculty are required to be licensed to practice engineering in Alberta. The successful candidate will be expected to hold professional engineering licensure with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) or with the equivalent association in another Canadian province.
Application letters, curriculum vitae, a one-page teaching statement, and contact information of three referees should be addressed as below. The deadline for applications is March 23, 2020.
