Position Highlights
Qualified postdoctoral candidates are invited to join the laboratory of Dr. Jerry Jaboin (Chair of Radiation Oncology) and Dr. Danushka Seneviratne within the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Oklahoma.
The research focus of the lab is molecular and immunological mechanisms underlying radiation response and chemotherapy/radiation resistance, particularly in breast, gynecological, CNS, and head and neck malignancies. Additionally, the lab is expanding to investigate novel methods of molecular imaging and biomarker development for monitoring disease progression and treatment response.
Candidates with a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or M.D. or both) and a strong background in cellular/molecular/immunological sciences are preferred. Experience in immunological assays and oncological animal models will be a major plus and candidates with primary knowledge in RNAseq data analysis are encouraged to apply. The position will involve some flexibility with regard to projects based on the interests of the postdoctoral fellow, therefore, at the time of application, candidates are encouraged (not required) to submit a short description of any projects they would like to work on.
The position offers a competitive salary based on the NIH pay lines.
